The Secrets to Make Money from a Blog

After more than 2 years of blogging, I decided to write out a post on how I get income from my automotive blog. The income from this blog isn't much to brag around but is to explain how actually writing a blog can help people like me who are looking for alternative source of income to get some pocket money.

Google Adsense

Google Adsense is not a new thing to world of bloggers and entrepreneurs who earn living through internet. Google Adsense is a program run by Google that allows publishers in the Google Network of content sites to serve automatic text, image, video, or interactive media advertisements, that are targeted to site content and audience.

I earns the income from Google Adsense by publishing the media advertisements on every page of my blog. Here is the example of the Google Advertisements that running in my page:

When the users or blog readers click on the Google ads, I get some money from Google Ads, through the pay per click (PPC). The payment rate are subjective to the type of ads. Here are the some screenshot how the money are generated from Google Ads:

Income from Sponsored Posts

When my blog is growing, more and more readers and web surfer will touch down to my automotive blog. At this stage, there are fixed traffics or readers in my blog, that mean I got the opportunity to do some marketing and my target is my readers.

Authors and writers around the world from media marketing division that wanted to market or promote about their company or services, will look for me and request for sponsored posts to be put on my automotive blog. The sponsored posts will discuss about the automotive relative stories and subsequently talk about their automotive company or services.

Products Review

Blogging for products review is nothing new to every one of us. When the blog have certain traffics and readers, those companies that related to my niche blog will looks for me and provide free sample products for me to review.

In return, I have to write a review article for the product and that products have belonged to me at the end of the day. If I am gonna make money from products, I can sell the products through online platform after I reviewed the products on my blog.

If you are looking part time to earn some money, blogging is definitely one of the fun method. Some bloggers are able to make good income through blogging and fully retired from their full day job.
